Today was a cheat day (no meat day), and I tried vegetarian food for the first time.
My thoughts? edible and tasty! Would I go again?
Maybe.. especially if I’m feeling healthy.

was skeptical about eating a meal without any meat, but I was surprised. Plus, they change their menu daily, so you won’t get bored of it.
Here’s what I tried, ranked in order:
The place is located at the basement of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (it’s kinda hidden!). Best part? It’s super affordable. So really, there’s no excuse not to give it a try.
- Truffle Pasta, Corns, and Mushroom Soup Meal (Thursday Menu) – ⭐ 3.94/5
A creamy, truffle infused pasta that felt rich like hotel food. I missed the meat a little, but this was satisfying. The mushroom soup was also ok.

- Sticky Rice with Vegetarian Chicken – ⭐ 3.88/5
Couldn’t resist trying this after just one glance. The aroma of sesame oil hits you before your first bite. The rice is perfectly sticky and the nutty sesame oil flavour is on point. Tastes like real chicken.

- Bobochacha – ⭐ 3.6/5
A sweet ending to the meal, sweet potato chunks in a coconutty broth. Might not be for everyone, but for just $1, it’s worth a try, generous portion too.

- Wholemeal Black Sesame Bun – ⭐ 3/5
A decent snack that’s filling, healthy, and not bad in taste. Great option if you’re still hungry.
